My name is Gavin Ayers. I am a transfer from Wenatchee Valley College in Wenatchee, Washington. I completed my Associates Degree at Wenatchee Valley. I am now a student-athlete studying at Biola University. I am majoring in Business Administration. My goal after college is to get into Sports Marketing.

A Night to Shine
An extra-curricular activity that I worked on was Night to Shine, which is a moment of giving back to people who truly deserve it. A Night to Shine is an event put on by a highly respected athlete known as Tim Tebow. It is a night that people with autism can bring a date and have a prom night dedicated to them. I got the opportunity to help put this on in my hometown and helped run the event.
Lab 3 MIS
In one of my classes, Management Information Systems I learned how to use Excel and SQL. I chose to add our Lab 3 from this class because understanding how to use excel and coding was a huge tool. Both of these tools will help me later on in whatever career path I take in business. If I could do this project again I would take some more time in SQL, to learn all the tips and tricks to coding.

Target Market Project & Reflection Video
In my Intro to Marketing class, I worked on a semester long project looking into the fitness clothing industry. The goal of this project was to pick two competitors in my industry and obtain knowledge by doing research and customer/ professional interviews. After research and interviews I was able to create my third business based off my research and competitive advantages in the industry. This made it possible for my company to be unique and be able to standout verses my competitors. I had to find a hole in the market and find ways to fill it in order to be successful. To the right is my critical thinking self reflection video going into more depth of my project and research.
In this project I learned how to use Tableau. Tableau is a program where you can compare data and make an analysis based off of it. The skills I learned from this were excel, and all the different maps and data used in Tableau.
